About the Training Centre

We are the first Kongsberg Maritime Training Centre in Africa and are situated in the beautiful maritime crossroad city of Cape Town. Initially started as a satellite training centre because of the pandemic - we have created a friendly and intimate centre featuring a state-of-the-art training room and technical laboratory for 6 participants.

Our instructors are highly qualified engineers and ex-seafarers, which constitutes a unique blend of theoretical and practical operative experience. Our goal is to support the Maritime industry with high-quality personal training of our products for safer maritime operations.

Our purpose-built training centre in Cape Town supports customers of Kongsberg systems, by offering a portfolio of blended courses in specialist dynamic positioning, navigation  and marine automation.  We offer both standard and tailor-made courses that teach the operation and maintenance of our products.

We aim to deliver practical, interactive and result-oriented training to ensure the knowledge gained is immediately applicable in the work situation
