Anchor Handling Operation Exam

Course Description

EXAM OBJECTIVES

This exam tests the skills and competence of a

DPO against the requirements given in the competence

standard DNV ST-0027 colum 4 and 5, Winch Operator and Officer on Watch.

The exam is a thorough test, covering the most

important competences for a winch operator and OOW, in compliance

with relevant DNV competence standards. The test

measures how well operation of equipment, duties

and tasks are performed.

TARGET GROUP

The exam and certification is aimed at individuals

presently, or in the process of becoming, responsible

for maintaining the vessels industrial mission as an winch operator or OOW.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Compleated AHO level 1 and 2 together with Minimum 5 Anchor Handling Operations loged in IMCA Record Of Competence Logbook, or relevant experience as an winch operator and OOW on Anchor handling vessels. Compleated AHO level 1 and 2 and IMCA task book, or relevant experience as an winch operator and OOW on Anchor handling vessels.
